Restorative Yoga

An asana (posture) class for all bodies and abilities that honors the great lineage of yoga. Sustainability of practice, maintenance of the whole self, and mindfulness are the pillars of this class. Asana is practiced at a slower more meditative pace which emphasizes breath and healthy postural alignment as well as functional postures aimed at guiding the body into more freedom and harmony. The class is a combination of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga styles, with fewer transitions than Vinyasa yoga and more flow than Hatha. The class will conclude with a series of deeply restorative asanas aimed at relaxing and preparing the body for a satisfying savasana.

An asana (posture) class for all bodies and abilities that honors the great lineage of yoga. Sustainability of practice, maintenance of the whole self, and mindfulness are the pillars of this class. Asana is practiced at a slower more meditative pace which emphasizes breath and healthy postural alignment as well as functional postures aimed at guiding the body into more freedom and harmony. The class is a combination of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga styles, with fewer transitions than Vinyasa yoga and more flow than Hatha. The class will conclude with a series of deeply restorative asanas aimed at relaxing and preparing the body for a satisfying savasana.
