Kenoza Hall’s unique brand of “earthy luxury” and its emphasis on wellness is dotted throughout your visit to The Hemlock Spa. Guests are invited to partake in a daily “morgen lauf” (morning walk), to disconnect and foster a purposeful analog experience, balancing technology with omission of overstimulation. The spa, with its Kneipp-inspired body treatments and massages, is an ode to the area’s early Swiss and German settlers.
Hemlock spa treatments, rooted in naturopathy and hydrotherapy, extend beyond the four walls of the Hemlock Spa, and into the 55 acres of land which include sensory and walking paths, artfully designed gardens, an outdoor barrel sauna, hot tub and pool.

Embrace summer with our seasonal body scrub, featuring the Unzented Body Polish from Zents, blended with freshly harvested lavender from our own grounds. This gentle exfoliation smooths and renews your skin while the calming essence of homegrown lavender soothes your senses. After the exfoliation we will apply a nourishing shea butter to hydrate and refresh the dermal layers. Begin your day with your choice of a 60-minute Hemlock Signature Massage or a 60-minute Custom Facial, each designed to rejuvenate your body and mind. Enjoy a $40 dining credit to use at our on-site restaurant, and take part in a complimentary fitness class to support your overall well-being. You’ll also have full access to our spa amenities, including the outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, and relaxation lounge. The Movement Studio
Our Movement Studio offers classes such as aerial yoga, sound meditation, guided meditation, kickboxing and other various workshops and more. All are welcome to join us! Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited, for more information and details see our Movement Studio page.
Pool & Hot Tub
An outdoor heated swimming pool overlooks the main inn & Kenoza Lake and provides German-inspired lounge chairs for hotel guests. Adjacent to the pool is a hot tub and outdoor sauna. Kenoza Lake lies just beyond the main inn and offers a place for canoeing and row boating in season. Available to hotel guests and outside guests with pool passes.
Relaxation Greenhouse & Sauna
Our serene relaxation space is conveniently situated just steps away from our pool area, nestled within the Hemlock Spa. Housing a rejuvenating barrel sauna, invigorating outdoor showers, lush greenery, inviting lounge seating, and a cozy fire pit, its open-air design invites nature to take center stage, offering a perfect retreat for recharging before or after spa treatments. The space also includes a Kneipp path, inviting you to walk barefoot on different textures and reconnect with nature—an opportunity to rejuvenate both mind and body outdoors.

Our therapists use products by Catskill Botanicals, Caralista, MANTL and Red Flower during spa treatments.
Hemlock Spa also offers a curated selection of product available for purchase including Kneipp products, and products by The Lost Explorer, Apotheke and more.
